We cannot wait to visit Victoria Beckham’s new London store!
We hear there is a queue already- will you be trying to bag yourself something from this style icons line?
According to the results a staggering 1 out of 3 people admit they have married the wrong person, another interesting fact revealed more than 1 in 10 people believed allowing their partner to have any affair would improve their marriage and strengthen their relationship.
It is undisputable that finding out your partner has been doing the dirty behind your back can be a devastating revelation, however taking into account the findings of the report it has got us thinking about how those 34% of people who deem their marriage a mistake might actually benefit from an infidelity. Could a jilted spouse be awakened to the prospect of their relationship failing and try to fix it? Could the cheating spouse realise the error of their ways and try to salvage their relationship? Maybe that 1 out of 3 people when faced with their partners’ adultery actually realise that maybe they have married the right person after all and simply forgotten their value?
Stars like David Boreanaz, married to one time playmate Jaime Bergman, had previously described his relationship post-infidelity as ‘a bonding experience, in the long run’. The Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie, married to Josh Duhamel, similarly attained “When you go through difficult times, it really makes you stronger as a unit, as a partnership. It does for us, anyways. Our love today is a deeper love, definitely,”
So over to you ladies… would an affair break you or make you?
Hear about the new celebrity photo hacking? Having only last week discussed the #freethenipple campaign- here is the ultimate example of when it is not okay to post nude pictures of women.
We’re really feeling for our fave celebs today as their more intimate picture have been exposed on Reddit and Twitter. Celebrities to have been targeted are Jennifer Lawrence, Kim Kardasian and Rihanna to name a few, the most recent being Amber Heard, fiancée of Johnny Depp.
Here at Bored Wives Club we are quite frankly appalled at the sexploitation of these women. Gabrielle Union another victim of the scandal has compared whoever has organised these hackings to ‘vultures’ and digressed “I can’t help but to be reminded that since the dawn of time women and children, specifically women of colour, have been victimised, and the power over their own bodies taken from them. These atrocities against women and children continue worldwide.”
Gabrielle Union and her husband put on a united front as they reaffirm these were pictures that were private and personal shared between themselves.
The couple finish by expressing their “love support and prayers” to others who have been affected, professing “We have done nothing wrong!”
Here at bored wives club we’ve been discussing the recent hype to hit instagram. The #freethenipple campaign- a picture protest against Instagrams no breast policy. Opposing the restrictions on female nudity, the movement retaliates against the photo upload rules governed by social media. Essentially women across the world are purposefully posting topless pics to challenge these guidelines.
Scout Willis, daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis, sparked universal support and awareness in the movement when an image of her was removed from Instagram. Prompting the outraged 22 year old to practice her own #freethenipple stunt by taking a walk through New York with her top half well and truly uncovered. Scout Willis has spoken out about her views by maintaining “No woman should be made to feel ashamed of her body.”
Feeling liberated many other celebs began to jump on the no bra’s allowed train. Those that have dared to bare include the likes of Cara Delivigne and Rihanna – instigating further debate on whether censorship rules are behind the times or simply furthering divides within gender inequalities. Are these guidelines in place to protect the female form or to suppress freedom of speech?
Perhaps we should start to celebrate a women’s figure rather than censor it. A female should have the right to express herself and take ownership of her own body. The fashion world seems to have the right idea with London Fashion Week making it popular on the catwalk to expose your décolletage.
What do you think of the #savethenipple campaign? Is it time to burn the bras ladies?
